Damascus, Va., 2009 Christmas Parade

* 2013 Parade * Christmas Parade - Saturday December 7 - lineup at 5:30, parade at 6:00 * 2013 Parade *

NOTE - The parade was moved to a night parade a couple of years ago and gets underway at 6 p.m.
Mrs. Claus and Freddy the Reindeer Feeder (actually he is the Caretaker, but likes to be called the Reindeer feeder) hopefully, will be able to join us again this year for the 2013 Christmas Parade through downtown Damascus. Following the parade, we visit with children and families inside the Volunteer Fire Department building. Children (of all ages) have the opportunity to talk with Santa, Mrs. Claus and Elf Freddy, telling them what they want, asking any questions their hearts desire, and taking photos. We do not have a photographer available, but anyone is more than welcome to bring their own and take their own photos. Refreshments are made available, courtesy of the Town of Damascus and the Damascus Volunteer Fire Department.

We look forward to seeing you there!

* David Patton has some nice photos posted of smiling faces from the 2011 parade *

Child talking with Santa

Children lined up in the Damascus Fire Department for an opportunity to tell Santa what they want for Christmas following the annual Christmas Parade in downtown.
